About Dr. Jung

Dr. Lisa Jung is a 2nd-year resident doctor working closely with Dr. Celmer and Dr. Klausmeyer here at ICM. With her pharmaceutical sciences and naturopathic medicine background combined, she offers an integrative and functional approach to one's health. She strongly believes that health is not just the absence of disease, but also the optimization of oneself.

Her Naturopathic Medicine Journey

Before embarking on her naturopathic medicine degree, Dr. Jung was on a journey to become a pharmacist. In 2015, she had to be hospitalized after emergent care due to a dire health condition. With the level of care, she had received, she knew that there is more than can be done to restore one's health aside from dodging emergent situations. Growing up in South Korea with exposure to traditional medicine, she felt aligned with the principles of naturopathic medicine. She is passionate about teaching and has assisted in teaching at Bastyr University during her time as a student and now as a graduate. She also has written a comprehensive study guide with Wild Brilliance Press for the naturopathic profession's clinical board exam.

Primary Care/Women's Health

Dr. Jung strongly believes in quality care, in which she meets patients where they are at. Whether it is from general wellness & check-ups to acute changes in life, she values listening to patients and discussing what their needs are. As a point-of-care provider and support system, she will act as your advocate. Her special interests include cardiometabolic health, digestive health, mental health, and neurochemistry.

IV Therapy

Sometimes our digestive systems are compromised that it is hard to absorb nutrients from our food. With the beauty of IV therapy, patients can access these important nutrients directly while the digestive or other systems are being restored. Prior to her residency, Dr. Jung has completed additional training in IV therapy as well as trained with many doctors in this modality. With her passion for teaching, she also works at Bastyr University as a professional teaching assistant for the Advanced IV Therapy class.

Dr. Jung looks forward to developing long term relationships with patients to reach their optimal health.
