| What is Concierge Medicine? | Concierge medicine is a personalized healthcare model that enhances your access to providers with benefits like same-day appointments, longer visits, and direct communication with your healthcare team. At ICM, our Concierge tiers include direct doctor access, priority scheduling, and discounted or complimentary services, ensuring a higher standard of comprehensive, preventative care. |
| Why did ICM become a Concierge Medicine practice? | Transitioning to concierge medicine allows us to maintain high-quality care while navigating the challenges of traditional insurance-based systems. By limiting enrollment, we can build stronger relationships with patients and ensure access to holistic naturopathic care. Concierge care also incorporates valuable “non-covered” services such as prior authorizations, after-hours support, and direct provider communication. |
| How does Concierge Medicine benefit me? | Concierge care fosters a deeper, more personalized relationship between you and your healthcare provider. By stepping outside the restrictions imposed by insurance companies, we can deliver individualized, comprehensive care. Naturopathic medicine focuses on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms, and concierge care allows us to stay true to this essential principle. |
| How do I sign up for the Concierge Medicine program? | You can enroll by visiting our Sign-Up Page and discussing options with your provider during your visit. |
| Can I switch tiers later on? | Yes, you can change tiers at any time based on your needs. Just discuss it with your provider. |
| Will my insurance still be billed? | Yes, we will continue to bill your insurance. You are responsible for any copays, deductibles, and coinsurance as outlined by your insurance plan. |
| What happens if I don’t choose a tier? | If you do not select a Concierge tier by your second appointment, you’ll be classified as a Per Visit Patient, which includes a $75 fee per visit. |
| Do I need to enroll in a plan to see you if I don’t have insurance or if my insurance doesn’t cover naturopathic medicine? | No, self-pay patients are not required to enroll in a plan to see their healthcare provider. Additionally, the $75 administrative fee will be waived. However, this option doesn’t include access to the benefits provided by our plan tiers. To enjoy those additional services, you’ll need to select a plan. Please note that plan fees are not discounted for self-pay patients. |
| Can I switch tiers later on? | Yes, you can change tiers at any time based on your needs. Just discuss it with your provider. |

| If I cancel my enrollment, can I rejoin later? | Yes, you can rejoin at any time. Please note that there is a $200 reactivation fee for re-enrollment or sign up for a yearly plan to avoid that fee. Our Cancellation Form is required to move to Per Visit Patient tier. |
