About Emily Grochowski

Emily Grochowski is a professional scientist turned Functional Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, specializing in an evidence-based, personalized, and root-cause-focused approach to nutrition and lifestyle medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from UW-Madison and spent several years in academic research and biotechnology labs before realizing her true passion: leveraging science to help people directly. This realization led her to pursue a career in nutritional medicine.

Emily completed her Master of Science in Nutrition at Bastyr University and her Dietetic Internship through Lehman College. After gaining experience with diverse communities across New York City’s five boroughs, she returned to the Seattle area to deepen her expertise in functional medicine and nutrition. She worked with patients facing a variety of complex health concerns in a private practice functional nutrition clinic while continuously advancing her knowledge through organizations such as the Institute of Functional Medicine, Next Level Functional Nutrition, and Cogence Functional Immunology.

As a clinician, Emily values both the scientific foundation of medicine and the importance of patient education and empowerment. She is dedicated to equipping her patients with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their specific health goals and sustain lifelong wellness. By taking the time to listen and understand her patients, Emily cultivates strong therapeutic relationships and delivers dynamic, practical, and holistic support. She also embraces a team-based approach, working collaboratively with her patients and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to provide highly individualized and effective treatment.

Emily enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life and addressing a wide range of health concerns. She is particularly experienced in supporting patients with complex cardio-metabolic issues, immune imbalances, gastrointestinal conditions, neuroendocrine concerns, athletic performance, and those seeking to optimize their health span.

Emily would be honored to join you on your journey to harness the healing power of food and lifestyle medicine, helping you achieve your unique health and wellness goals.
