About Us

OUR MISSION, OUR SERVICES, OUR DOCTORS

Our Mission

Attaining health is a personal journey that everyone makes at some point in their life. It can be challenging, overwhelming and confusing – but the ultimate reward of well-being and a healthy mind, body, and spirit are within your reach. We can help you get there. We are dedicated to helping you find the answers and resources you need to achieve your personal health goals.

Our Philosophy

At the Institute of Complementary Medicine, we strive to provide you with the most comprehensive and individual integrative health through evaluation, treatment and education regarding therapies and modern bio-medical science. Health is more than the absence of disease; it is a state in which the body, mind, and spirit thrive in balance. Our approach to medicine recognizes that without addressing the underlying imbalances, drugs and supplements can often only mask the symptoms. At the Institute of Complementary Medicine we work with you to find practical solutions to restore equilibrium– physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Your health in balance = radiant wellness!

Our Services

  • Initial Consultation

In order to effectively serve you, we want to get to know you, not just your health problems; plan on 1.5 hours for your first visit. Please complete the intake forms prior to your appointment and bring them with you.

  • Appropriate Physical Exams

We provide physical exams as is necessary to properly diagnose and effectively treat you.

  • Functional & Conventional Laboratory Testing

We use a variety of lab tests in conjunction with exams and the symptoms you share to provide a whole picture of your health. This enables us to determine a more accurate course of treatment.

  • Dietary & Lifestyle Counseling

While general health-promoting guidelines can be applied to most people, your ND will customize a diet for you that will optimize your health. With many patients it is also necessary to enhance nutritional status using targeted supplemental therapy.

  • Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine or herbalism, involves the use of plants to treat disease and promote health. Various parts of the plant may have medicinal benefits, including the root, rhizome, leaf, seeds, bark, and cambium.

  • Homeopathy

Homeopathy stimulates the body’s vitality to initiate healing using FDA-approved medicines that consist of a very dilute substance. This system of medicine has a long history and great success helping people who suffer from the symptoms of many acute and chronic diseases.
